IOA’s New President, Heath Ritenour, Brings Fresh Perspective and Innovation to IOA
Ritenour attends meetings with senior executives to discuss how IOA’s offerings will impact industry standards and coverages. He also communicates with vendors to ensure products and services are meeting standards and filling current needs. Heath Ritenour sets daily and monthly goals to keep his productivity in check and stay focused. This routine allows him to do one or two new things every day, which always helps him progress and at the top of his game.
Time management, however, is not something that Heath relies on alone. He has another essential ally to assist him: Johannes “Lowell” Cloete, IOA’s chief financial officer (CFO). Together, Heath Ritenour and Krigsman create strategies to improve and streamline the company’s structure, finances, and insurance plan services.
Over the next year, IOA plans to significantly expand its growth strategies, including strategic partnerships with other insurance companies. Heath Ritenour is already formulating a growth plan for the year in his role as CEO. He must juggle many different departments as CEO, including sales, marketing, communications, and information technology. He assists with the proper implementation of new strategies, and the ability to coordinate such matters well will significantly help him in his position as IOA’s CEO.
The IOA staff is impressed by Heath Ritenour’s ability to excel as CEO and maintain a positive attitude in every encounter. They enjoy working with him. His family’s background in insurance is a factor in his ability to get to the top position at IOA. Heath also demonstrates his abilities in his work life by always maintaining a positive attitude and participating in staff events and morale-building events.
As the chief executive of IOA, Heath Ritenour directly oversees 12 subsidiaries, including IOA Insurance Group, Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers, Reinsurance Brokerage Corp., IOA Financial Services, Insurance Advisors, Mergers & Acquisitions Co., and Stonegate Agency.
Those companies are IOA Property & Casualty Insurance Company, IOA Investment Group, and AIA Group. IOA handles large-scale property and casualty insurance claims.
