Haroldo Jacobovicz is the CEO of World, a company that is worth $20 billion. Haroldo was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil but grew up in Toronto, Canada. Haroldo received his Bachelor’s Degree from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul and then completed his MBA at the University of Western Ontario. Haroldo Jacobovicz started working for an investment firm while doing his MBA and eventually left to start World with some other partners. Haroldo has been described as “a very humble person.” He told Bloomberg: “I like people who are committed and passionate about what they’re doing.” Haroldo is married and has three children. Haroldo loves to travel with his family, especially the Amazon, where he enjoys hiking in the jungle. Haroldo’s passion for traveling inspired him to start World because many people couldn’t afford it. He knew that “the world was too small not to share.”

Haroldo Jacobovicz says that “it’s all about the people you meet on your journey.” Haroldo wants to thank his family and friends for their support.
